The latest Resident Evil themed DLC to Dead By Daylight, Chapter 25 “Project W”, is now live! This update brings a new killer – The Mastermind – along with two new survivors, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers.
The new DLC is another Resident Evil cross-over with the popular asymmetrical survivor game, focusing on the story of the update’s killer, Albert Wesker.
While the bundle does not introduce any new menu theme music or changes to the UI, the DLC will be available for the larger of the two typical prices – $11.99 USD.
New Killer: The Mastermind

The latest killer is probably the most ordinary looking of all the game’s antagonists. He brings three new perks: Superior Anatomy, Awakened Awareness, and Terminus. These perks grant him additional vaulting speed, reveal Survivors’ auras, and add the Broken status effect once the Exit Gates are powered.
New Survivor: Ada Wong

Everything about Ada Wong was an enigma. Her history, her nationality, her allegiances, her motives, even her real name was a mystery. Was she a corporate spy working against the Umbrella corporation? Was she loyal to Albert Wesker? Or was she a double agent? And why was she after the Las Plagas parasite? Clearly, she was a trained assassin. A weapons expert with advanced martial arts training. While investigating Los Illuminados, she was captured and nearly killed in a ritual sacrifice. But in the end, she escaped and was never seen again. That, too, was an enigma.
New Survivor: Rebecca Chambers

A child prodigy, Rebecca Chambers graduated from college at age 18. As a Rookie Police Officer, she was the youngest member of the Special Tactics and Rescue Service assigned as a field medic with Bravo Team. Dispatched by S.T.A.R.S. to the Arklay Research Facility, her squad investigated a series of grisly murders. While exploring an abandoned train, she discovered undead monsters and mutated animals. She escaped to an even more horrifying place, an old underground Umbrella Corporation facility filled with shocking abominations.
Map Reworks
In addition to the new playable characters, this update brings new changes to the Racoon City Police Department map, bringing a much needed quality of life update. According to the developer, it will be split into two separate maps – the East and West Wings – with each version featuring different rooms.
Navigation will be far easier than before. Not only has the Map seen a considerable reduction in size, but plenty of new entrances have been added, the many corridors have been widened, and removed several extraneous rooms – including the library’s infamous second floor.
